Going to Church vs. Becoming the Church

I often wonder if attendance will be up or down in our new church plant, and
if I will be satisfied or disappointed (a selfish swing of emotions that still
plagues me from time to time). Constantly, I remind myself that missions is
not about going to church, it?s about becoming the church.
Our responsibility is to expose people to the Gospel of Jesus; His Spirit
draws them into His Body as His Bride. Of course, church participation is
important for this is where hearts grow and minds mature, yet church
attendance is to be the result of something far greater.

I have been terrible at posting recently, mainly due to the fact that I have spent most of the past three weeks on the road with only sporadic internet access. There is much to report and share, and I will be doing that over the next few days. I would like to begin with this excerpt from the new website of colleagues Tim and Vicky Reiner.
