The Diagnosis

It would appear that, for all practical purposes, my laptop has died. There is still a chance I may recover the data from my hard drive, but other than that, it is history.

Sooooooo, now we begin the process of figuring out where to go from here. Fortunately, our desktop is running well (or was when we left home), but the laptop is kind of essential when it comes to my work at the seminary.

I am only going to start worrying about this when I get home from São Luís, however. In the mean time, I will daydream about a replacement.
