Facts From the Seminary

In doing some research on the Cariri Baptist Seminary for the video project I am putting together (two of them have been shown already--two more to go), I was given some interesting statistics which I thought I would share with you:

* In the past 60 years, our seminary has graduated 492 students.
* Of those 492 students, 168 are pastors.
* 84 are pastors wives.
* 33 are missionaries.
* 154 are involved in some part-time ministry.
* 5 are serving on foreign fields (including one in the US)
* Our graduates are currently serving as professors in six seminaries here in Brazil. There is a seminary in Fortaleza who's teaching staff is made up almost entirely of our former students.
* In all, 89 percent of our total number of graduates are currently involved in the ministry in some way.

Numbers like these are among the many reasons I am very proud to be associated with this institution.
