Back Home
We arrived home today from our week-long vacation in Maranhão. We had many adventures as we showed my parents around Itacyara's home town. Pictures and video will be forthcoming.
As always, I am returning home with a great sense of the opportunities in that region, and a renewed resolve to go there permanently as soon God allows.

I am Philip McLain, Guy and Inez McLain's elder son. I was looking thru the vintage pics of Ceara and I think I can help with ID of some of the people there....you interested? I grew up in Juazeiro until 1950 and recognize a lot of the buildings there....In fact, my dad built the church and the house there, as well as working with Jim Willson on the first seminary building.
