What Missionaries Read

Recently a friend introduced me to Library Thing, an online library cataloging program. Since I am unpacking my library, I decided to catalog them at the same time. I currently have 99 books listed, and I am nowhere near finished yet.

While going through my books, I found a few of the Sugar Creek Gang series that enthralled me as a child. I have decided to start reading them to my son. Does anybody else remember these books?

Andrew,

Yes, I do remember the Sugar Creek Gang, and actually remember more than anything the radio programs Moody Broadcasting produced based on the books in the 1960's. To this day they are aired all over the United States on Moody radio stations. I also recently saw Sugar Creek Gang movies in the library. They were produced within the last three years.

By the way, I clicked the link to the Waldocks blog and found it is actually the link to their Zoomshare main site. Their blog address is waldocks2india.blogspot.com. I check there often and find that they post a new entry every couple of weeks.

Yes, I remember them. My favorites, if I wanted to just read something light, were the Hardy Boys.

Oh...and by the way...I've TAGGED YOU. Check my January 6th post. :-)

Of course I remember the Sugar Creek Gang. They had a following in Canada too. In fact, I have a whole bunch of older versions of the books (perhaps original - I should see what I have there!).

Thanks for the link to the SCG site - interesting.
