That Sinking Feeling

The passengers watched helplessly as the water quickly overtook their vessel. What had started out as a pleasure cruise had turned very quickly into disaster. With screams and cries of desperation, they abandoned ship. Somewhere in the distance, Celine Dion began to sing.

Ok, so it wasn’t quite on the proportions of the Titanic, but last Saturday, on our teen camping trip, I managed to capsize the canoe we were riding in. Praise the Lord, the only thing that was hurt was my pride. Thankfully, we have no pictures of the event. And if we did, I would not publish them.
