Life Without a Computer
I was able to do a lot of work this morning, but then, just as I was about to head to work, my computer broke. Or, as they say in Brazil, it pifou. I find that word much more discriptive!
I wonder how missionaries like Adoniram Judson, David Brainerd, or William Carey survived without a laptop. How did they manage without powerpoint presentation and database management? Did their supporters ever wish they got weekly updates by e-mail?
Whatever the case, I feel like I am back in the stone-age (or at least the 70s!). I am writing this on somebody else's computer. Lord willing, my own laptop will be up and running by tomorrow.
